BELLE CHENAULT, Ph.D.
I am an educational diagnostician and counselor. What does
that mean? It means that I test and diagnose children and
adolescents for any learning issues and educational problems
facing them. It also means that I counsel with them on a variety
of concerns, including self-esteem, anger, grief, anxiety,
adjustment to divorce, and school and peer problems.
I can help parents understand how their children learn and
how they can achieve better at school. If their children are
having trouble with school, I can administer a battery of
intelligence, achievement and other tests to determine the
causes of their problems and can recommend educational interventions.
I can also work with parents to determine how best to support
their children in the growing-up process. I serve individuals
and families in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties, with
offices in Seattle and Bellevue.
Other pages in this website describe my background, my testing
services and approach, and my counseling philosophy and services.
